Please ensure the following latest software versions are downloaded on your Android phone and/or tablet:
If you are mirroring onto a Windows Laptop, please download

- For this to work, it requires Universal ADB Drivers to be installed

1. Setup the TV at a comfortable height to mimic the screen as if it was on the arthroscopic stack, and the laptop close enough to reach through a HDMI cable.
2. [LAPTOP] Connect a HDMI cable from your laptop to your TV (make note of which HDMI input is used).
3. [TV] Turn TV on and select the same HDMI input from above step.
4. [TV] The TV display should be same as the laptop. If not, then please look into your operating systems multiple display settings.
5. Place the AR-throscopy Kit or Simulator Box on a table that is at a comfortable height to perform simulated arthroscopy.
6. Make sure the AR markers are not in a shadow and place the phone in a position that is stable and clearly viewing the AR markers. We would strongly advise purchasing a phone stand for this purpose.
7. [ANDROID PHONE] Go to Settings > About Phone > Software Info > Build Number (press 7 times to enter “Developer Mode”).
8. [ANDROID PHONE] Go to Settings > “Developer Options” > Turn USB Debugging “On”.
9. [ANDROID PHONE] Increase screen brightness to the maximum setting. Go to Settings > Display > Brightness.
10. [ANDROID PHONE] Connect phone with a data cable with your laptop.
11. [ANDROID PHONE] Select to allow access to device data.
12. [ANDROID PHONE] From top menu – select USB options > “Use USB for transferring images (PTP connection)”.
13. [LAPTOP] Select “no” to any prompts to transfer photos or videos from phone.
14. [LAPTOP] Open “Google Chrome”.
15. [LAPTOP] Load “Vysor” from Chrome Apps.
16. [LAPTOP] Wait for device to be found, or click “Find Device”.
17. [LAPTOP] Your “Android Phone Name” will appear. Click “View”.
18. [LAPTOP] A new window showing your phone screen will appear.
19. [LAPTOP] Wait until advert appears after 30 seconds and press “X” on top LEFT of window.
20. [LAPTOP] The window will continue to show what is on the phone display.
21. [PHONE] Tap AR-throscopy app.
22. You are ready to go!
